Pacolli requires competent security institutions to provide full support for the security of Chairman Bahtiri and the threat to be brought to justice.
Mitrovica Mayor Agim Bahtiri has been threatened with death through an e-mail that has reached his address today. The exact content of the threatening text is unknown, except it is written in the Serbian language.
Bahtiri has made it known that the threat comes from Serbs and connects with his insistence on opening the Ibri Bridge.
According to him, the case has been reported to the police, and investigators are working on catching the author as soon as possible.
He has promised that the process of opening the bridge will not be allowed to be stopped and that the bridge will be opened very soon, but has not given any precise date.
Bahtiri has ordered citizens to be calm and not to worry about such messages, for as he put it, the head of the press says, there is no one who can scare him.
