SDA (Bosnian), The HDZ (Croatian) and SNSD (Serb) are the main political forces of the three communities, which have the highest number of MPs in the central Bosnian Parliament, an assembly numbering 42 MPs, according to results published by the election commission after counting more than 80% of the ballots.
These results also confirm victory for the country's tripartite presidency made up of Serbian Milorad Dodik (SNSD), Bosniak Sefik Dzaferovic (SDA) and Croatian, Zeljko Komsic, head of a Social Democrat (DF) formation that has defeated the leader of the nationalist HDZ party, Dragan Covic.
