But the same executive chief appears to be ready to break this historic taboo, as he has approved the plan for the club's scan to follow a national red football player as a potential Merkato target for next season.
Vip Sport has learned that the name Crvena Ziesda has scored is that of midfielder Kamer Qaka, who in this season is being activated with the Polytechnica Iasi team after failing to transfer him to Bucharest's Steaua ranks during the summer.
Qaka is a profile that has attracted the attention of many clubs, between them and Crvena Zvezda, which, convinced by the player's qualities, has forgotten the nationalist aspect and focused on his sports skills and the contribution he can make to this team.
Club scans have been in Romania during October and have taken action by some footballers, taking notes about their presentations and prospects for the future.
