Turkish deputies in Macedonia have asked the president to be rejected as Kosovo's ambassador.
George Deday has been waiting for an ambassador for a long time.
Since August of this year, the foreign minister was nominated as chief of the Kosovo diplomatic mission in Macedonia.
But the economic state is refusing to grant reconciliation for Kosovo's Liberal Chairman to be ambassador to their country.
The Macedonian refusal relates to comparing the Serbs Dedaj has made to Turks, saying Turkey had committed six centuries of crime and genocide over Albanians.
But those who are insisting that Dedaj not be admitted are Turkish deputies in the Macedonian Assembly.
They have asked the president and Macedonia's foreign minister not to accept Deday as ambassador.
“As a Turkish party, we have met with President Gyerge Ivanov and with Foreign Affairs Minister Nikola Dimitrov about Deday's refusal as ambassador and have submitted our request not to accept the credentials of Kosovo's appointed ambassador to Macedonia. So far, the author's response has been positive. We think Gjergj Dedaj will not be Kosovo's ambassador to Macedonia”.
But it is not only Turks who are opposing the appointment of Gjergj Dedaj ambassador to Macedonia.
Even connoisseurs of developments in Macedonia are opposed.
That Deday has not yet received the answer from the Macedonian side, he has confirmed for the T7 and the Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
They via e-mail, February, have said the process is in an advanced phase and that they cannot comment more.
But diplomacy connoisseur Africa Hoti says delaying the answer means that the person proposed for the diplomat is not acceptable to the host state.
And that is what says it happened before in Kosovo diplomacy.
However, the professor of international law says that even in such cases there is a solution.
As far as accepting confirmation from Macedonia, Dedaj will continue to stay a little in his office as deputy foreign minister and more Pristina locals.
