Facebook has closed at least 14 pages identified during a joint verification of BIRN and BBC as linked to the International Temple Horsemen, or KTI, a Christian militant organisation that results in a very active turn in the Balkan region.
The KTI, citing itself as a living shield and a sword for the protection of Christian communities”, has boasted that its vast network has helped through social media in selecting Donald Trump as US President, while claiming it has also influenced the referendum in Great Britain for leaving the European Union.
Current articles on its website welcome the new “large abortion rate in Russia” and the upcoming referendum against gay marriage in Romania.
The organisation has drawn controversy over tough views on Muslim immigration in Europe and the donation of equipment to so-called <x0-judees of migrants” in Bulgaria or the Kosovo Serbs.
THE KTI is named after the medieval Catholic order of the Crusades, which played a prominent role in the wars in the Holy Land against Muslims. But the modern organisation has no connection with the Vatican.
Facebook explained for “Sunday Post” that the pages in question have closed because they conflict with his community standards.
