During the nine-month period (Janar-September 2018) of the total inflow of Kosovo Customs totaled about 837m euros, which compared to the same period in 2017, represents an increase of 3.13%, or about 25.5 million more.
So has the Kosovo Customs Information Office announced.
On the other hand, the impact on the inflow accumulated by Customs over this period has also had the SAA, the fiscal package that refers to import tax releases for producers, as well as import of used cars.
“As far as releases are concerned, according to the SAA should be stressed that the impact on access to SAA over this period is about $33 million, while the impact on the inflow of the fiscal package referring to producers along the reporting period is about 56m. Here, too, should be highlighted by the impact of the import limit used to note a significant drop compared to last year, where we have 9816 pieces of cars used less in import, and this has contributed to the decline of 16.7 million dollars less than last year in the used car category, while we have an increase in imports of 583 parts of cars that have affected even this category of new cars for about 2 million euros, the Customs report says.
Despite all these impacts on revenues, as from tax releases for producers, influence by the SAA, and import restrictions on automobiles, Kosovo Customs has continued to show a very good performance in the introduction of revenues for the reporting period.
