Former KSF commander, now a member of PDK's Headship, Kadri Kastrati, has said that everyone knows that Albanians have had no consensus on the military since 2014.
Kastrati, at RTV Dukaagjini, has said that in 2014 Kosovo Serb representatives were ready to accept the formation of Kosovo's military with constitutional changes.
The “is widely known at the time we could have the army through constitutional changes, and Serbs were willing to vote on these changes, but representatives of the two political subjects were against this transformation, or as representatives of the LDK and Vetevendosje said against granting a favour to Serbs”, Kastrati said.
According to the PDK official, these two parties have lacked foresight at the time, and now we have a lost chance.
“Those parties have not been visionary and visionary, since if they had been more visionary and if they had seen these problems that we are facing four years later, we would have had the” army, he said.
Kastrati, however, expressed happiness that today the Albanian political class is unique in the army's formation.
“Today, I am happy that all Albanian political subjects are unique in the position for the army vote”, Kastrati said.
