That means Facebook would have a very complete view of your movements even if you don't use its application.
It first appears under the Instagram privacy parameters. The application would use GPS tracking to locate Instagram users even when they're not using the app.
The recent removal of its founders and the appointment of Facebook Adam Mosser served only to overcome what was already a thin gap between the two apps.
