Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj participated in the Economics, the Balkans and the European Union's five-year cycle of the Berlin Process.
Haradinaj was part of the panel, where he discussed the economic and European perspective of the Balkans together with Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic, Macedonian Economic Affairs Minister Kocho Angjusev and Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Rasim Ljajic.
Haradinaj said Kosovo offers numerous opportunities for investments, including fiscal facilities and consolidated infrastructure.
He stressed that Kosovo is open to all countries in the region and that there is good co-operation with neighbouring countries. In relation to Serbia, Prime Minister Haradinaj said Serbia's economy has already recognised Kosovo and it would be good for the policy of this neighbouring state to do so as soon as possible.
In relation to CEFTA, Kosovo has received all international obligations when it was represented along with UNMIK, but it is important to understand that by 2008 Kosovo is a sovereign and independent state and only as such Kosovo will be represented in this organisation and in future documents and agreements.
