Proper education of new generations in the country is the objective of the Government of Kosovo, and projects dealing with this area will have my support.
So Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said after hosting Angus Bjarnson, incumbent director in British Council in Kosovo and Albania.
This meeting discussed the “project The 21” Schools of the Century, a project that was launched in Kosovo last year and aimed at training local teachers on topics such as critical thinking and solving problems, digital learning and the use of microbis equipment.
Prime Minister Haradinaj after announcing Bjarnson's recent developments in the country, with particular emphasis on education, said the country's government is facing challenges in this direction and that any project aimed at advancing this extremely important area would have its support and that of the government it is leading.
“We have been trying to support any initiative meant to advance the state of education in the country. In this area the British Council project is extremely necessary and we thank you for this”, Haradinaj said.
Microbe device, part of project “The 21” Schools of the Century is a coding device developed by Microsoft and the BBC, which was used in the schools of Great Britain two years ago.
In Kosovo this project was launched last year in ten schools, currently being implemented in 10 other schools in the second phase until the next phase will include all schools in Kosovo.
