Through a Facebook text, Hamiti has said that even Kosovo students studying in Saudi Arabia are falling prey to these ideologies.
According to him, there are currently over 80 students in Saudi Arabia from Kosovo who have chosen this country because of the stock exchanges and accommodation this state offers.
It's very true, that of all these students who are massively pursuing this country, there are those who escape the influence of Islamic religious performance according to the local version of Saudi professors, but from the current experience, it shows that most of them have fallen and are constantly falling under the influence of the rigid obelist ideology, which even after their return to the country continue to believe that it is the only accepted and exact form of Islam”, Hamit writes Hammi.
Hamiti further says the main problem of students returning from Saudi Arabia is that they fail to make the distinction of Islam from culture, customs and traditions embedded with local interpretations of Islam.
Also another factor, according to Hamit, is the fact that a large number of students think that right there is the exact place where Islam should be studied because of the extent of the two holy sites; Mecca and Medina.
