The company has confirmed Friday that the data of over 30 million users, where they had access to phone numbers and emails, CNN reports.

“The FBI is making active investigation into this split of”, says Guy Rosen, vice president of Facebook. While adding that the FBI has asked no details about who is behind this attack, it could harm investigations.
This news comes in two weeks after Facebook reported that the attackers had access to the accounts of 50 million users, which means they're locked in user accounts. According to Facebook, fewer have been affected than they thought - 30 million.
Facebook has confirmed that in the coming days it will send messages to 30 million affected users and post information to its aid center.
