Gracanica refuses to set state symbols, Pal Lekaj cancels visit

Infrastructure Minister Paul Lekaj has had to visit the municipality of Gracanica, where he has had to meet with the mayor of this municipality, Srdjan Popovic.

Lekaj and the mayor have planned to visit the village of Kishnica.

But this visit has been cancelled because the Gracanica municipality places Kosovo's state symbols in spaces where the meeting is envisioned.

For Lekaan and his cabinet, it is not acceptable to be found in an institution that is not identified with the symbols of the state belonging to the Republic of Kosovo. The first of the infrastructure will be closer to the citizens of this municipality, as well as concrete infrastructure projects for meeting their” needs, the ministry's communiqué said.

Through this communiqué Lekaj has thanked the media for expressing readiness to follow this activity.
