Gordana Jankulovska received today confirmation of the six-year prison sentence by the Macedonian Criminal Court. It has been under trial since 2016, when it had resigned as interior minister in the government of Nikola Gruevski after the wiretapping scandals Zoran Zaev had made in then political currents, broadcast Periscopi.

Jankulovska, born in 1975 in Ohrid, broadcasts Periscopi, which after four days will celebrate the 43rd birthday, probably in prison, was Macedonian Interior Affairs Minister on four mandates, as part of Nikola Gruevski's Governments.
During mass protests in Macedonia in 2015, activists had demanded that Gruevski and his entire cabinet resign. Jankulovska, heard saying “for an hour I could clear the shiparists” perhaps referring to the Kumanovo case, along with two other ministers, had resigned.
On February 12, 2016, the special prosecutor for organised crime in Skopje filed charges against her and eight others for falsification of elections and other criminal acts. /Periscopi
