The president of the World Football House will vote on his controversial plans to create two new international competitions at a FIFA Council meeting Friday in Kigali, Rwanda, Reuters writes.
A Council that promises to be tense, as European clubs and leagues strongly oppose it.
The first proposal would be to create a mini World Cup, with eight international teams, every two years, except for traditional events.
The second would change the World Cup in depth.
The annual event will be held every four years and will bring together 24 teams, out of the current seven, even though other options must be presented to 36 Council members, including an annual competition
