The famous singer converted to Islam, changing his name

Singer Sinaad O'Connor decided to accept Islam, and has a new name, Shuhada Davitt.

Shuhada Twitter last week said she is no longer a Catholic. Sinead or now Shuhada has also published photos where she looks covered.

I would be proud to announce that I have become a Muslim. That was a natural conclusion to my intelligent theological journey. All the world's sacred books lead to Islam. I will also have a new name. It will be Shuhada”, she wrote on Twitter.

Shuhada also published videos teaching Ezan.

This is my first attempt at calling for prayer. Some words I still say wrong, as I'm influenced by emotions”, she relates.

The famous singer was in psychiatric recovery in the United States last year.
