A mother from St. Helen, whose daughter died seven weeks after she was asleep holding her on the couch, has been released.
Stacey Atkinson, 30, admitted that he had been drinking alcohol and had neglected the baby's care by causing the tragic event to suffer.
Judge Andrew Menary QC said the society demanded that he be sentenced to prison, but would be suspended.
Judge Menary told her: You've suffered a terrible sentence with the reality of what you've done. I have no doubt that you regret what you've done. Authorities have investigated this case and are pleased that you and your partner are loving and capable parents”.
We remember that Stacey found the girl dead when she woke up after three hours of sleep after having had a half - bottle of alcohol.
