Today, the North Crimes Prosecutor is expected to decide on the fate of the initial criminal proceedings against former Albanian Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri, who is charged with narcotics trafficking under the Habillas group, which was hit in Italy.
Today, the investigation deadline ends after two postponements and the prosecution is expected to come up with a decision on whether to send former Prime Minister Tahiri to trial or cease the case against him.
Meanwhile, Top Channel sources near the RS Criminal Prosecutor have confirmed that the investigation group of this issue is expected to seek sending Tahiri's trial. This request is expected to be made to the Court of Internal Crimes and will be the last to decide on the fate of the file.
Of the investigations conducted, former Prime Minister Tahiri is suspected of providing relief to the Habillas group for cultivation and then trafficking cannabis towards Italy. These allegations, the North Crimes Prosecutor, have raised them because in more than one case the criminal group's exhibit has used motor and naval means on behalf of former minister Tahiri.
For this, the prosecution has also received several literature from Greece, Montenegro and Italy.
