Albania's government, respectively, has issued a scandalous decision that is a clear threat to electronic media in Kosovo.
By making a decision that forces online media to register as businesses at the National Business Centre in Albania, which is a normal media procedure in Albania, this authority has put even media that don't work there, but in Kosovo.
Among these media are Insander, portal “warned.net”, “botasot.info”, “sovon.info” and some others operating in Kosovo.
However, this is of no interest to the Authority for Electronic and Post Communications in Albania, which has also put Inseder, who is registered with the Agency for Registering Business in Kosovo.
“After this deadline expired, AKEP will close any online portal that is unregistered at the National Business Centre”, says the AKEP decision that has only made 72 hours to register.
All this decision has come after Prime Minister Edi Rama's warning that portals should be registered at the National Business Centre, as part of the “Page Anti-Packy Anti/ex1>, and AKEP has immediately started operating.
They have not made known how the closure of Kosovo media will take place.
