The case occurred at around 20:30 last night, when regional investigative units stopped the truck with registration plates 06, which was being driven by the Albanian citizen of Kosovo.
Ismet Hashani, spokesperson for the Kosovo Police (PK), at the Regional Directorate in Gjilan, has announced that documents and truckloads were found to be transporting 39 sheep leaders.
According to him, the suspect had no valid animal transport documents.
The alleged smuggling of animals at the scene has been confiscated by police, the truck along with cargo. The AVU units have been called, as has the case called for the Green Line Unit from Kosovo Police”, Hashani has said. /Periscopi/
