Agim Bahtiri with unique ideas: Let's invite a large musical star to the bridge opening

The mayor of the southern municipality of Mitrovica is demanding that this ceremony be marked with the concert of some large non-Albanian or Serbian music star whose name will also be baptized buildings that divided the city for almost 20 years. But for this plan there is no idea whether the chairman of the north or the Government or the European Union has invested its reconstruction.

With this concert as planned, the city will be joined or the Ibr Bridge will be named after this star.

Bahtiri, who has presented the idea to political and military acts including Interior Minister Bejtush Gashi, says he does not expect controversy.

This is neither from the EU, with whose money has become the renovation of the bridge, which you have personally visited by European diplomacy chief Frederica Moghrini.

But is North Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakic informed of all that Bahtiri says?

Rakiq told Klan Kosovo that he does not support the idea of the concert on the bridge for the city's unification.

While in the EU office in Pristina, they said they have no idea what musical manifestations are being discussed.

The opening of Ibër Bridge has become a hot, political theme for many years. The mayors of two parts of the city -- one Albanian and the other Serb -- will not agree to the release of normal circulation on people and vehicles.

Local Serbs demand signing the memorandum for the administrative border.

The Mitrovica municipality, which is administratively divided south and in the north, does not have the administrative line defined. That, according to Serbs, should be the Iber River, meanwhile, the other side is flatly opposed.

With the agreement signed, settlements such as Suhodolli, the Binarici-companied Binary majority would go under municipality management in the north. The latter is the product of Martti Ahtisaari's package, on which Kosovo declared independence.
