AAK deputy chairman answers Thaci: We are not afraid, we are ready for choice

Berisha said the AAK does not fear the president's threats.

“We are not afraid at all, neither of the vital issues that are for Kosovo, but in case of elections, whenever we are held we are ready for it”, Berisha said for callo.com.

However, Ali Berisha does not view these statements as threats, but as daily political discurs.

I don't think they're threats, they're statements of daily political jargon. He is president of the country and the main obligation has the country's unity”, he added.

According to him, MPs rather than the president decide for new elections.

“For elections decide political parties and Kosovo Assembly deputies”, Berisha said further.

For Berisha, there are questions at the moment more important than going to new elections.

I think that important national issues, such as dialogue with Serbia, then the border issue, these are more important than elections themselves. I think these are unnecessary statements at this important moment in dialogue with Serbia, decisions for the military, of visa liberalisation”, AAK deputy chairman Ali Berisha said, among other things.

As for President Thaci's statement that a serious prime minister does not talk every day about war, Berisha countered by saying that if there are violations of Kosovo's sovereignty, every citizen of the country should be concerned.
