Ferizaj's Economic and Tourism Development Directorate has published the nine-month labour report, under which 87 businesses have lost total as a result of financial difficulties during the January-September period.
Mostly, artisan businesses are continuing to disappear, while the Ferizaj municipality has failed to implement any project to stimulate them, even paying at least the bank credit interest, though continued promises have been made during the election campaign.
Zekir Bytyci, director of Economic and Tourism Development in Ferizaj, has said inherited debts and other financial troubles have been unable to realise any business-enhancing project.
According to him, the Municipal Assembly has already approved the budget for economic development for 2019, so they will implement projects and support different businesses with subsidies. Timeout
