President Aleksandar Vuciq has said that his Kosovo counterpart, Hashim Thaci, has expressed his willingness to co-operate with Serbia in whiteling the assassination of Serbian SDP leader Oliver Ivanovic.
After a telephone conversation with Thaci, held yesterday afternoon, Vuciq has asked Thaci for the Serbian authorities' involvement in whitewashing the assassination, while Thaci has told Kosovo authorities are willing to co-operate and accept any assistance in resolving the case, Periscopi writes.
The two presidents have also agreed to continue the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue, as well as co-operation in stabilising the situation in Kosovo.
President Thaci confirmed this conversation yesterday via Facebook.
“In this case, President Thaci has assured President Vucic that the prosecutor's and police's responsible bodies are making intensive investigations into the discovery and bringing to justice those who have made this murder. President Thaci also stressed that the competent organs of the Republic of Kosovo are willing to co-operate in accordance with the legislation in force and accept any assistance, which could lead to the white-up of this murder”, the president's announcement was said. /Periscope.
