Vuciq spoke to Radio Television of Serbia, that Belgrade wants to reach a compromise with Pristina representatives.
I told the Albanians, if you speak every day and if others in the world expect that we will give everything and on the other hand we have got nothing, then thank you and goodbye,” said the president of Serbia.
He also estimated that today's conversation with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci in Davos is a form of dialogue, reports “Beta”, Periscopi broadcast.
“We will have to resolve things from time to time. It is our job not to lose what we must not lose but to lose only what we want. If people don't understand what we're doing, there's another choice, but I'm afraid this choice will turn into failure,” said Vuciq.
He also said Serbia is awaiting the results of an investigation by Kosovo authorities for the assassination of SDP leader Oliver Ivanovic in northern Mitrovica.
The US Ambassador to Pristina Greg Delaway said this is an extraordinary opportunity for them to show results. If they don't tell them, then we'll see what we can do because we won't give up,” said Vuciq.
Speaking of the economic aspects of talks in Davos, Vuciq said the World Economic Forum acknowledged that Serbia did not have problems with economic reforms./Periscopi/
