The military said today in a brief statement that it has responded to “provocative fires” two-day from the African region, which is thought to be under control of the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG).
Turkey's military has not provided more details.
Ankara considers the YPG group to be a terrorist organisation.
Turkey's defence minister, Nurettin Canikli, said yesterday that his country has launched military operation against Kurdish fighters supported by the United States in the African region in Syria.
