Gashi calls it absurd that MPs, who voted for the establishment of the Special Court, now demand its abolition, Periscope follows.
According to him, it is the current Kosovo leaders who are trying to prevent special formation because they are seeing themselves endangered by this court.
Gashi said the KLA's OVL initiative for a petition against the Special Court has been motivated and promoted by state leaders.
In an interview with the Tribuna Channel, he has called the initiative unrealistic and delayed to abolish the Special Court.
The “initially needs to be amended, because with constitutional changes, the removal of Article 24, then the initiative for the abolition of Special” can be legal, he said, adding that such a thing would seriously harm international relations with Kosovo's sponsors of independence, specifically with the US, which no Albanian wants.
He said he believes all these initiatives are delayed, except if more than 80 MPs are secured, despite it would hurt Kosovo's reports with the international factor.
Gashi added that despite developments in Kosovo, for trying to abolish the Special, there are ready accusations and are expected to be published soon.
