Pristina's Constitutional Court during 2017 has accepted 281,000 and 90 cases, of which 149 thousand and 529 have been resolved.
This has been announced by the head of this Court at a news conference, Venus Bytyqi, where she presented the results of her performance in 2017.
According to Bytyci, there has been an increase in efficiency on the part of the Foundation Court for 24 per cent, but there are also shortcomings.
The Constitutional Court has faced a large number of inherited materials, large numbers of new subjects, but with the small number of judges, and with the lack of technical support of that professional”, Bytyqi said.
It has also cited a priority where, according to her during 2017, increased transparency, had good co-operation with the media, opening the Facebook account, court portal, various communities from the information office, then publishing judicial decisions, organising numerous visits, accepting them, etc.
