According to an article recently published by the Anadolu Agency (AA), serials sold and seen in more than 140 countries of the world bring an annual benefit of over $350 million.
According to data from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Turkish series have scored great success, especially in the last 10 years, ranking second in the world in the post-US sector. As a result of the great U.S. vision in Russia, from Balkan states to the Middle East, from the Far East to Latin America, Turkish series generates over $350m annually. The president of the Radio Television Broadcasting Association, (RATEM), Yusuf Gursoy, told AA that in 2023 it is intended that profits from the sale of series amount to about $1 billion annually.
