Following the visit Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq made to Kosovo, this Serbian citizens would vote for resolving the problem with Kosovo.
And a referendum would be inevitable, according to Minister of Commerce in Serbia Rasim Lajjic.
Lajiq has indirectly acknowledged that the solution with Kosovo may be changing the pre-multiple of the Serbian Constitution of the state.
“If the constitutional preamble referring to Kosovo is changed, a referendum would be mandatory”, says Lajic, broadcast news.net.
According to the Serbian minister, a possible referendum on Kosovo would be possible for citizens to express freely and democratically the solution proposed by politicians.
But he stresses that “responsibility would not be removed”, alluding to the responsibility each state official would carry.
Lajic says a eventual solution is difficult given the polarisation between the two countries.
If the referendum is held, it would be more clearly understood after spring, until internal dialogue” develops, says Rasim Lajic.
Otherwise, the two presidents of states, Thaci and Vuciq, following a meeting they had in Davos, agreed to continue the dialogue.
