The enlargement strategy called “credible enlargement prospects for the Western Balkans” will be presented on 6 February at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The announcement is published at the Western Balkans portal in Europe (European Western Balkans).
This strategy will be presented to the MEPs by the European Parliament's Commissioner for Policy of Neighborhood and Negotia for Enlargement Johannes Hahn, airs time.net.
As Croatian news agency Hina reports, which emphasises that it has had the Strategic Project in its hands, Serbia-Montenegro, in the best case, could become a member of the European Union in 2025, while for the realisation of this crucial goal will be 2019, when both countries are expected to meet transitional measures.
In 2019 both countries are expected to meet the transitional measures of Judicature and home affairs chapters, while in Serbia's case the full normalisation of relations with Kosovo broadcasts Koha.net reports.
