Internet freedom has been markedly reduced in Russia: people go to prison if they post in social media, there is a halt to the VPN services, and the preservation of expanded data is hard to sustain. And recent movements by the Russian government show that further developments will still come.

According to a RBK portal report, Russia's President Vladimir Putin in 2017 has ordered his government to negotiate to create independent greenhouses so that they can be named as DNS with the states of the BRICS, in which Ruisa, including Brazil, India, China, and South Africa are participating until August 2018. These servers contain global IP Public Address databases and host names.

If Russia creates its own government, it could become the king of the internet, experts say.

The given reason is “down of the United States and several EU states regarding internet regulation” that Russia views as a serious “risking” for its security, the RBK quoted from the processes taken at a meeting of Russia's Security Council.. /Periscopi/
