Rare confession: Ahmet Zogu after the woman who shared his bed for four years

It is August 10, 1929, a hot day in the coastal city of Durres.

From Paris, cab dancer Tanja Visirova, thanks to a contract signed with Lalle Cross, has arrived in Albania, a country that had never violated it before.

According to what they had said, it had to jump “at the Tirana Royal Theatre for Ahmet Zogu, king of Albanians”.

But they kept him in Durres at a residence where Zogu would later express love.

They lived together from 1929 until 1933.

Tanya's story brought him back for DIA diplomat and publicist Idajet Hoxha.

Visiova has gone to the Albanian Embassy in France, where Hoxha was First Secretary and Consul General, and then became friends and have often met.

Tanja made efforts near this embassy in 1977 to link a pension from the Albanian state as former King Zog's wife and took an interest in 10 ha of land in Durres that Ahmeti had donated with documents.

The problem was pursued by diplomat Hoxha, but without result.

The diplomat's confession is based on Tanya's own statements. Hoxha says her father was Polish and Romanian mother. He relates the moment that Visirova was brought before Ahmeti.

How Tanya puts it about intimate relations with Zogu:

When they moved from Durres to Tirana, Visiova recognized Ahmeti's family, seven sisters and mother. Their hostility to her was immediate.

I was beyond the taste of the king's sisters. I didn't have the same inclination for valueless things. While her mother forced Zogu to promise that no time, as long as she was alive, he wouldn't take a wife, a girl who wasn't Muslim”.

The bird often asked her about other men in her life. Visirova relates:

I was a woman who had multiple relationships with men, but I wasn't one who gave them two drinks and they gave up. To me love is an intimate party. One night I had a breakdown of appendix. I looked for a doctor. When Zogu came in the morning he asked me: Without a naked doctor? He touched you? Tanja disappeared shortly before her last meeting with Idajet Hoxha, shortly after a book of memories was published, where she had mentioned reports with Ahmet Zogu.

Hoxha tells about Sunday:

“In the embassy Tanja Visirova had left a phone number and an address in Vens, about 70km north of Nice. A few miles before I get into town, I made a call. Someone else answered the phone saying that Visiova had left that address. I told the driver to get there anyway.
