Slumbered reports with the American Embassy concerning the attempt to abolish the Special Court, as well as insistence on failing to sign the demarcation agreement, it appears that Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj is taking revenge from official Washington.
News.net finds that Prime Minister Haradinaj and his wife have been denied American visas. These sources say Haradinaj has received <x0-negative” demand that he travel to the US early in February.
“The prime minister and his wife would participate in the morning prayer held in Washington every February 4th, yet surprisingly the visa has been rejected”, a source of news.net has said.
In addition to participating in morning prayer, Haradinaj was to visit the American state of Iowa, with which Kosovo has excellent relations, especially in the area of security.
The morning prayer invitations are made by the Presidential Committee of the United States Congress. Prayers begin at 7: 30 a.m.
News.net has tried to speak to Haradinaj's cabinet chief, Avni Arifin, as well as the director of the Office for Media in the prime minister, Halil Matosin, but contact with them has been impossible.
Each year, the president of the United States and members of Congress join other government officials, leaders on the side of the United States, diplomatic community, and friends like you from more than 130 countries in the world to share experiences in the spirit of friendship through prayer and thanks.
Last year, at just this time, Haradinaj's wife, Anita, had announced that they had received US visas, however, the prime minister was held in France under a warrant issued by Serbia.
Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Wessel participated in the morning prayers last year. At this ceremony, Wessel also met with US President Donald Trump.
Also, past years at the ceremony have gone by MPs and other Kosovo state officials, not being denied visas.
