Kosovo Police spokesman for the northern Mitrovica region Besim Hoti has said the current situation is calm and there has been no incident until now, during the Serbian president's stay in Kosovo
Aleksandar Vuciq is making his seventh visit to Kosovo for the last five years, where an hour ago he was at the Banjska monastery. Now, he will go to northern Mitrovica to pay tribute at the site where Serbian politician Oliver Ivanovic was killed during this week.
Kosovo Police spokesman Besim Hoti has told Express that the security situation is calm and that no incidents have occurred so far.
No, there's no incident, everything went well, according to the police plan, and everything's fine”, Hoti said.
Meanwhile, northern Mitrovica Serbs are waiting for Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq to arrive.
Later, Vuciq will stay at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in northern Mitrovica, at a closed meeting, talk to the political and institutional representatives of Kosovo Serbs, and then it is pre-priced for Vuciq to travel to the central part of Kosovo, to Gracanica and Llapna Sele, where he will talk to local residents.
