The Palestinian official's response to Trump: Jerusalem Not for Sale

The threat from Trump came Tuesday from the post he had made by his Twitter, in which it read that the US could reduce its $300m annual aid to Palestinians because it is not taking “no assessment or respect” in exchange, reports “RT” Transmission Periscope.
“They don't even want to negotiate a peace treaty with Israel... with Palestinians who are no longer willing to talk about peace, why should we make massive payments for them in the future?”, he wrote.
The remarks were widely condemned by Palestinians, who are angry at Trump's decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
The Jewish State annexed the eastern part of the city during the 1967 war, but the Israelite movement was rejected from the world community until 2017.
“Jeruzalem is not for sale, neither for gold nor for silver”, Nabil Abu Rajainah said on Wednesday.
He added: “if the United States is interested in peace and its interests, should be respected. ”
Hanan Ashrawi, a senior executive of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation, said Palestinians “would not be blackmailed. ”/Periscopi/
