Macedonian president does not decree Albanian-language law

Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov has refused to decree the Law, which recognises the Albanian language as official in all Macedonia. January 11, 2018 Macedonia's Assembly voted the law for use of languages without public debate, without involvement of academic experts and without opposition. With the adoption of this law, the European flag -- which changes the legal systems” -- has been misused, Ivanov has said, among other things, in a presentation before journalists.
On January 11th, 69 MPs voted in favour of the law for official use of the Albanian language.
