A few moments ago, the long-awaited meeting between Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and his Greek counterpart, Alexis Tsipras, has ended.
The meeting has lasted nearly three hours until after the meeting, Zaev has declared that resolving multi-year dispute is in the interest of both countries and the entire region, and that the two countries are on a good track to improve relations between neighbours.
On the other hand, the Greek prime minister also indicated that it is time to find a common Erga Omnes solution, but that, according to him, it is necessary to exceed identism, writes Alsat M.
Zaev assured the Greek counterpart that Macedonia will do everything to overcome this dispute, even expressing willingness to change the name of the airport and the highway.
To regulate relations with Greece, Macedonia will change the name of the airport and the international highway, which will be called “friendship”.
