Macedonia's Diaspore Minister, Edmond Ademi, Albania's Pandeli Majko, and Kosovo Diaspore Minister Dardan Gashi during a meeting in Ohrid praised that co-operation in the diaspora field is useful and an important area for deepening co-operation among the three states in the region.
The Ohrid meeting was considered an important start to boost joint action in strengthening ties between the countries, within the Euro-Atlantic integration process.
The ministers welcomed Macedonia's Parliament's recent decision on official use of the Albanian language as an act granting credibility to close co-operation between the three countries.
The ministers agreed to hold joint visits to the US, Germany and other countries to meet the diaspora communities. They also agreed that their joint action will continue and be involved with reciprocal agreements for other, interested parties in the region, said the communique.
