The Jaguar released new details before the premiere of the first electric car, model I-Pace.
Production Jaguar I-Pace is based on the concept of 2016 with the same name, and the company has published a video of pre-production cars in Sweden under very low temperatures, about -40 C.
The car will have a system for rapid refueling of electricity, so batteries can load up to 80% capacity in 45 minutes or even shorter, the company says.
Jaguar has yet to publish further details, but it is known that the I-Pace concept is equipped with a 90kWh battery and 294 horsepower. It can reach from 0 to 100 miles per hour in 4 seconds, and with full batteries it can exceed 500 miles [500 km].
Jaguar I-Pace is scheduled for March 1st, after which the car will be presented to the audience at the Geneva car fair
