Yesterday we heard Huawei's deal with AT & T was cancelled at the last minute and it looks like the Verizon deal could go the same way. According to a number of reports, lawmakers may have had a hand in the deals that are being cancelled.
Various reports are suggesting that American lawmakers urged operators not to sell the equipment, following concerns about Huawei's privacy and ties with the Communist Party and Chinese intelligence agencies.
Huawei will sell the equipment directly from its US website, the lack of carrier partnerships for the company would probably harm its US phone sales.
