Hoxha: Bulgaria supports Kosovo in enlargement plan

European Integration Minister through a communiqué for the media has announced that Minister Listi Hoxha, at a meeting with Bulgaria's Ambassador to Kosovo, Nediltcho Dimitrov Danchev, has said Kosovo should have deadlines and be included in concrete enlargement plans, application for candidate status, and other important processes for the country.

“I have constantly requested that Kosovo have the deadlines and be included in all initiatives and plans for expansion. Within our country there is consensus on the aspect of integration. It is a pity that Kosovo is the last in the Balkans within this process. We have the dynamisation and intensifying of the integration process, at all levels. Any strategy that refers to the integration of the Western Balkans without Kosovo would not be complete and would make no sense”, Hoxha stressed.

While Bulgarian Ambassador Danchev, whose country already has the chairmanship of the Council of the European Union, has confirmed Bulgaria's further steadfast support on Kosovo's European road, stressing that Kosovo's future is secure.
