The news about Periscop has been dedicated to MP Albulen Haxhiu, who claims to have made the move on behalf of 31 deputies of the Kosovo Assembly.
“Today I have submitted the Government's illegal decision to raise wages for myself to the Constitutional Court. The government must implement today's AKK decision, so it must abolish the illegal verdict, but also the Constitutional Court must handle it and set a standard in order that we in the future do not have such restrictions and violations on this “issue, Haxhiu has declared for Periscope.
Meanwhile, the Anti-Corruption Agency after reviewing the Government's decision on increasing and setting salaries of several positions in Government has found that the issue of this decision has been made in conflict with interest.
According to the AKK, which in the quality of the central authority for monitoring and implementation of the provisions of the Convention for Prevention of Interest, has made a review of the decision to raise salaries, recommended that the same decision be turned into a consideration in the Government of Kosovo, since, according to them, the conflict of interest has been presented to senior officials who by their vote have influenced the decision to be also in their interest for personal gain.
“Anti-Corruption Agency recommends that the decision be returned to review, exploiting other legal ways that do not conflict with the Law on Conflict of Interest and other relevant legislation in force”, it is said in the AKK's decision.
