Many citizens prefer the first days of January to spend winter holidays, even when it is vacation for state institutions.
Even the mayor of the municipality of Gjilan Lutfi Haziri has chosen this month to enjoy several days off.
He has travelled towards the state of Greece, along with his family, to the city of Thessaloniki, as well as posted photographs.
Time with family! Congratulations, 2018”, wrote the first of Gjilan's accompanying photograph published on his social Facebook network.

Lutfi Haziri was re-elected chairman of the Gjilan municipality on November 19th, when he won the runoff race against Sami Kurtesh of the Vetevendosje Movement. Haziri serves as chairman of the Gjilan municipality for four years.
Recently, holidays outside Kosovo have also realised the two top institutional officials; Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and Chief Prime Minister Kadri Wessel. Both chose Switzerland to rest.
