Greek comes to Albania to search for soldier's father's remains

Among those involved in searching for bones in Tepelena Dragons is Leftter Zani, Greek national, whose father has given up life and then bones on Albanian soil.

But Zani says that identifying bones is not as easy when it comes to ordinary soldiers as his father has been. That's because they didn't wear medallions.

My father was a soldier of the Italian-Greek war and served in Dringie next to the village of Sopik. My father was among the lucky soldiers of the war because most of his team are still in this land. As my father told me, the heads of companies all had medallions, but not simple soldiers. They only had IDs, and by the time they were killed, some families have been looking for pictures, or asking locals, but most were never found, and it's going to be a little difficult to identify immediately”, Lifter Zani said about Top Channel.
