Foreign companies operating in Kosovo owe the state Kosovo 3m and 827m euros.
According to the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) in total debt to the state, including local and foreign, has reached over 218m euros, the paper “writes today.Sound“.
It's not just local businesses that don't pay state taxes. Regular taxes prove not even foreign companies operating in Kosovo. Their debt to the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) has reached 3m and 827 thousand euros.
However, this is far less compared to debt from local businesses. Of the 900,000 businesses, thought to be registered in Kosovo, nearly half of them do not pay taxes to the state.
According to the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) in total debt to the state, including local and foreign, has reached over 218m euros.
“Borgi of all businesses that they have against ATK is 218,490,944.87 euros. The debt of foreign businesses operating in Kosovo is 3,827,564.05 euros, while private businesses are in debt of 214,663,380,82 euros”, they have told the newspaper by the Bureau for Information in ATK.
According to them, the number of businesses that owe ATK has reached 31 thousand and 571 businesses.
