The Amazon Internet giant has made a revolutionary online market, and from today it is moving in a way to buy bread, milk, and other foods by opening the first shop without cashiers.
When they enter a store, the customers scan their Amazon Go app, and combine computer vision, learning cars and sensors in the store, the store sees and traces what you put in your cart. When you leave the store, you are automatically loaded on a card.
The store will not be completely without people. Although cashiers are not needed, there will be workers who will prepare food, fill shelves, and help customers. At the store you will also be able to buy ready food, such as the dish.
Amazon Go to Seattle, U.S.A., has tested the workers of this company last year and this smart shop is open to ordinary citizens this week
During the December 2016 Amazon test, however, there has been a problem identifying customers, the BBC reported.
Perhaps because of this, the opening has been delayed. Gianna Punerin, head of Amazon Go, says it's about a technology that didn't exist and that this was a big step for computer vision and car learning. Amazon still does not mention when such Amazon Go stores will open in other US or world cities.
