Air tragedy in Costa Rica, no survivors (Photo)

The New Year 2018 started with an air tragedy after a plane crashed and there is no survivors.

The event took place today in Costa Rica when a flight plane from Nature Air flight took place.

The plane was following the route from San José to which it set out in order to reach Punta Islita, where a resort was to reach tourists on board.

At one point, the plane entered an empty airspace and lost direction in the Guanacaste municipality, reports loa.al citing Costa Rica authorities who talked about local media.

The Cessna 208 Caravan species crashed into the foot of a mountain and broke into flames.

Of the victims, ten are Americans, five of whom are family members, the Steinberg family from New York (photo), and the other two, members of the aircraft crew.

Among the 12 dead are Juan Manuel Ratana, cousin of former Costa Rica President Laura Chinchilla.

The causes of this air tragedy are not yet clear. The first investigations indicate that the plane exposed problems at the start of this journey, which should take 40 minutes to destination.
