Two families have been hired in Podujevo, who have been in prison for 11 years. Ukshini Tahiri's family and Abaz Tahiri's have extended their hand together, ending this confrontation.
Tahiri families from the village of Podujevo have put an end to several years of history today, extending their hand to each other.
11 years ago, Ukshin Tahiri's family had killed cousin Abbas, 11-year-old son and the son of Abaz's uncle.
Families hired prior to this murder had suffered four injuries. All of this ended at a ceremony organised by the Podujevo Appliance Council, Council Chairman Bajram Baku, said in this case that blood feuds should end and this day is too big for Tahiri families.
The Peacekeeping Council in Podujevo has called on all families who have faced war in Podujevo to appear in the council in order to end the crisis.
