A Texas resident familiar with her name in “Facebook”, like Ariel Marie, first shared Halil's picture and then started.

She was a girl who wrote: “You don't even know how many have blessed you. I loved you. I'll find you”. Halili told the Daily Mail he believed the girl saw his job and distributed the picture and then wrote it to “Facebook”

Halili said he and his cousin, Gezim, worked hours during the day and night to help flood.

The worst destruction we saw was in Port Arthur, the homes of the elders were flooded, patients were waiting to move from ships to dry land. Many houses and apartments were completely flooded. Throughout this madness, there were also many others who helped along with local state officials.

It was nice to see people helping others out of the goodness of the heart, regardless of race, religion, or political party. I believe this is the true spirit of America”, Halili said.

Gezim first came to the United States in the 1990s as a refugee.
